If we check the Bunnybrains&; history, 24 years ago, in the  now distant 1988, Bobby Bunny met Elisa Flynn, they worked together for a while  on Bobby&;s band called Invaders from Sears. After talking about the direction they were going, they decided that the best thing to do was to create a new and original band that could combine the message that each one of them wanted to share with their audience, and their history began to develop. Both of them lived in Westchester County, and usually gathered at Bobby&;s Aunt&;s house basement to think about their plans and to establish the direction they would take. One day, as they were writing some song titles, they came up with a name to call their band: The Bunnybrains. Interestingly enough they have mentioned in their bio that it was at that time that they decided to become the worst band anyone had heard before in the history of noise rock.

However, as it happens all so often in the history of the music industry, after having recorded only two songs, Elisa decided to go her separate way in search of a more refined alternative rock career. Not happy with the style of the Bunnybrains, she quit and established her own band, in search of making her own history. Almost immediately, Malcom Tent (who was the owner of Trash American Style and a record label called TPOS) joined Bobby, bringing years of experience in CT post-punk bands, that became obvious when in a 4 hour period, they recorded a mini album demo with 6 tracks of improvised songs.

As far as the general history of the band, as far as the context in which the band was created, back in 1988 there was a group of around 24 people who used to hang around Malcom&;s Store (Trash American Style) began playing under 4 separate bands, even as they had the same members. These bands were Chicken Doody F., The Ashlars Of Newton, Eg the Poet and Chicks with Dicks, all of them featuring the same performers. For all of them, the Bunnybrains came as the perfect combination of all their bands as a final product of them all. Looking back int their history, they were originally made of a guitar and bass player (Malcom), a bass player, vocalist and in charge of the effects (Bobby), several drummers, a cellist and a saxophone.

After that in 1989 (just one year after the Bunnybrains had been born), Beme Seed recruited Bobby, meaning that he had to move to New York City. During this time Bobby came back every once in a while to check on the Bunnybrains band&;s progress.
